Terms of Use

These terms are a binding agreement governing your use of the Antlia app and service, operated by Achilleas Eftychiou, an independent developer based in Cyprus ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using Antlia you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Antlia.

Who can use Antlia

You must be able to form a binding contract to use Antlia. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. You must use Antlia in compliance with these terms and all applicable laws.

The service

Antlia shows retail fuel prices reported to the Cyprus government's Fuel Price Observatory, with tools to find, compare and track them. Checking prices is free. Antlia Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks the additional features listed in the app at the time you subscribe.

Prices are information, not a guarantee

Prices come from the Consumer Protection Service's observatory and are shown as received. Stations report their own prices, which can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Each price shows when Antlia last fetched it from the observatory, which may be later than when the station actually changed it. We do not set, verify or guarantee prices, and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on them. Routing, distances and savings figures are estimates. Antlia is independent and is not a government service.

Antlia Plus subscriptions

• Antlia Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. The exact price and any free-trial terms are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
• Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation or, if you start a free trial, when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• We will tell you in advance of any price increase, as Apple and Google require.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings. A free trial's unused portion (if any) is forfeited when you buy the matching subscription.
• Billing, refunds and cancellations are handled by Apple or Google under their terms; we do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly.
• If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from your first Antlia Plus purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. On iPhone use Apple's Report a Problem page; on Android use Google Play's refund form; or email us and we will help. If you asked for Plus to start during those 14 days, the refund may be reduced in proportion to the time used.

Acceptable use and price reports

Use Antlia lawfully and for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, decompile or gain unauthorised access to the service, or scrape it at scale. Any price report you submit must be honest and accurate; we may use reports to improve the service without any obligation to you and without compensation.

Intellectual property

The Antlia app, its name, design and software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Antlia for its intended purpose. Fuel price data is © the Consumer Protection Service of Cyprus, published at its Fuel Price Observatory and licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0; Antlia processes that data, including storing price history and computing statistics. Nothing in these terms restricts your rights in the fuel price data under CC BY-SA 4.0. Map and routing data are © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).

Availability and disclaimers

We aim to keep Antlia available and accurate but provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Features may change or be withdrawn. If you subscribe to Antlia Plus, you keep your statutory rights if the service is not as described. If we remove a Plus feature in a way that materially affects you, you may cancel and ask for a proportionate refund.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on prices, routing or savings estimates shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Antlia at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. Terms that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) continue after termination.

Apple App Store

If you downloaded Antlia from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

• These terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Antlia and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Antlia.
• Your licence to use Antlia is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use Antlia, such as your mobile data agreement.
• If Antlia fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Antlia. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to Antlia, including product-liability claims, claims that Antlia fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer-protection or privacy law.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, the courts of Cyprus have non-exclusive jurisdiction, and you keep any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about Antlia. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the service. We will give at least 30 days' notice in the app of material changes to these terms. If you don't accept them you can cancel before they take effect.
